Practice Manager - Vladimir Zhuravlyov

I graduated from the Bachelor of Dental Science, at the State Medical University in Ukraine. Shortly following my graduation, I immigrated to Australia and commenced work in variety of different fields, while mastering the English language. In this process, I gained a lot of valuable knowledge about running a successful business, the dental sector, was a particular focus.

My role at Craigieburn Dental Gallery is a Practice Manager. My dream is to make a big difference in people's understanding of what dentistry is all about. I call it the "New generation of dentistry". This to me works on two levels; both the team member responsible for delivering the treatment and the patient receiving it should be as comfortable and relaxed as possible. My goal is to ensure that the dentists and supporting staff are enjoying their respective roles and are always delivering the optimal level of care. My other goal is to ensure that each patient is always feeling at ease in our practice, and has no unanswered questions left.

I believe that, in this day and age, there is no place for pain and fear in the dental sector. I am here, always at your service to make your visit to our practice as enjoyable and pleasant as it can be. 

Deantal Assistant – Katrina Bekar

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name is Katrina and I am a Dental Assistant at Craigieburn Dental Gallery. I completed my certificate 3 in Dental Assisting, in 2006 and have had over 7 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, in several different practices across Melbourne. As a Dental Assistant, I work alongside the dentist to help care for our patients and help to make their visit with us as comfortable as possible. I believe that I have a great deal of skill and knowledge, and I am more than happy to spend the extra time listening to the needs of our patients, to ensure maximal patient comfort at our clinic. I have always found Dental Assisting to be very rewarding. I really enjoy the contact that I have with patients and the role that I play in helping with their dental care. I have found Craigieburn Dental Gallery to deliver an exceptional standard in dental care and to have a greater understanding in patient comfort.

Trainee Dental Assistant - Kara Rusell

My name is Kara, and  I’m just beginning my training as  Dental Assistant. I have a great deal of enthusiasm to gain all the knowledge I can,  in this field. I have always wanted to become a Dental Assistant, as it is a varied and interesting career choice, which is always evolving. There are many pathways of further study, and I hope to become a Dental Hygienist one day. I have never had a bad experience in the past with going to the dentist, I actually loved it! I believe that because of this personal view on dentistry, I have the ability to calm and reassure patients. The main reason I wished to join the team at Craigieburn Dental Gallery, is because this practice covers all aspects of dentistry, therefore, no two days are alike. When you walk into the surgery you know that it is unlike any other. The calming atmosphere and welcoming staff change the whole negative perception of dentistry, which most people have.
